The Rosemount 5400 Level Transmitter provides accurate level measurement of liquids, slurries, and solid materials. The transmitter uses non-contact measurement technology with no moving parts and low maintenance. It measures the level from top to bottom and is therefore not affected by most changes in liquid properties, including density and viscosity. The Rosemount 5400 is designed to meet the challenges of achieving reliable solids measurement. The algorithm is reliable and enables reliable measurement of solid materials under difficult conditions, such as angled or uneven surfaces, multiple surface echoes or low dielectric constant products.
